Child Protection,
It is required that this school follows clear and definite guidance from the Child Protection Act. It is the duty of the teachers and support staff to recognise signs of abuse or negligence and voice their concerns immediately.
How does the School Protect Children?
Child Protection:
• Current DBS for each member of staff, governors and regular visitors e.g. music teachers.
• Every other visitor to be supervised 100%.
• One main entrance, other doors closed from the outside.
• Ever visitor, apart from parents, to sign in and prominently wear a school lanyard badge.
• Sufficient supervised ratio during play and lunch time.
• A record to be kept about any concerns for children.
• Refer the children to Social Services if there is any doubt.
• All staff to be aware of the policy and have passed the Child Protection training.
